Interneto is a project to classify "the internet links". But this is a very difficult task, there are thousands of domains that are born and die every day and it is a large complex system with a wide variety of topics.
Links can be classified into different types based on different criteria, here are some examples:
Top Level Domain (TLD) based classification (domain homepages, subdomain homepages, subdomain content, etc)
Functionality-based classification (info, e-commerce, media, social, blog, portfolio, etc)
Content based classification (audio, image, multimedia, text, etc)
Purpose-based classification (business, education, entertainment, etc)
Technology-based classification (client-side rendered, server-side rendered, static site genarated)
Interneto-links is a web directory structured in 3 main directories based on TLD domain (Content, Creator, Homepage). And each directory contains subdirectories and the classification system also includes tags, because a link can belong to different directories.
The classification system is a 'subjective' thing; it can never be perfect. But with good criteria and a user-friendly interface, it can be immensely helpful in organizing information and improving usability.
